50,000 visitors to the Salon des Artistes Français

The 235th anniversary edition of the Salon des Artistes Français, as part of Art Capital, closed its doors on a resounding success, with a total attendance of 50,330 visitors, including 15,038 on the evening of the opening at the Grand Palais.

This year, the Société des Artistes Français presented to the Art Capital public a selection of 900 artists divided into the different historical sections of the Salon: Painting, Sculpture, Engraving, Architecture and Photography. This year, two foreign delegations, one from China and the other from Singapore, were invited. The artists are unanimous: they are delighted to be back at the Grand Palais in this atmosphere of authenticity and conviviality.

If the cultural authorities are discreet in supporting our Salon, its success shows that it remains an unmissable event, driven above all by the enthusiasm of the public and the players in the sector.
